I realized I haven't posted here in a hella long time... I suppose blogging isn't really my thing.

But recently I have been thinking about a lot of crap, way too much for one man to handle, so meh, I guess I'll write about it, even if no one actually cares to read...

Now.. life.. isn't it wonderful? At times it is...for me, most are not.

I am not bragging or anything here, but I am academically gifted...there is just no way around it, I am. To me, however, it is more of a curse than a gift.

I am not the type to get conscientiously smarter by hard work and constant studying... I am just not. I don't study, and in all honesty, I don't give a shit about my grades. Good, bad...makes no difference to me, in the end they are just letters. But of course, in our current society, those numbers are over-glorified, and people with high marks are supposedly destined to be a success.

Gee, that's nice.

And of course, parents...will force their kids to study..to unlock their "hidden potential". Which, in my opinion, means smut if the kids don't even care about what he is studying. Sort of like me.

Been taking IT for a while as my college course, and I have to say I am not enjoying it very much. Sorry for IT geeks out there, but to me, IT is the single most boring subject on the planet possible for mankind. i literally would rather endure hours of studying LATIN than this shit. So despite my over-functional brain, I find myself only getting average grades for my college. And of course, no one is happy. I got scolded repeatedly, to change my attitude about how I view IT, saying that I am not studying seriously, and yadda yadda yadda, and at this rate, I can't get a decent university to go to.

Gee, well, seriously speaking, who the hell can give 100% or more in the task they are being given if they hate what they are doing? You don't force someone to paint and expect a picasso. You don't whip a slave and force him to work and expect to get good labour. You don't force me to take IT and expect me to be the next Bill Gates. Jesus.

Why the hell is money so important anyway..? I am not obsessed with money, I find other things to be more interesting than money, and hell, when we die, we can't bring it to whatever afterlife is there anyways.

I realize my parents want me to have a better life than them...but parents NEVER realize that forcing their kids to take something they don't like is hardly the way to go. If you do something you like, in all probability, you can make more money anyways... Thousands of people sit in their little cubicles at their companies each day, typing away at a keyboard doing some random crap their bosses told them to and accept it as their fate, they are indifferent, as long as they get by day by day, it's fine by them. No thoughts of going higher up never pops up in their mind because well, they themselves know that they don't have the capability or will to climb to the top.

And as things currently go, looks like I am gonna be one of them. Typing away at a keyboard, not knowing what the hell for.

My O Level results came out...

Started learning Japanese. It was fun.

So, I went to Bali a week ago with my class, a class outing, so to speak.

It was fun there, I can't believe that it is November, it was like summer there. I LOVE THAT PLACE!!!!

Played in the beach, the most fun I had in a long long time. Still have sand in my pants, an unwanted souvenir, I guess.

But I felt that our trip there is awesomely wasted.

We went to WAY too many historical places, I was bored out of my skull. I mean, yeah, visiting those sites are good and all, but not FIFTY OF THEM IN ONE FRIGGIN DAY!!!! 

I think my ass is still asleep on the seat of that bus we used.. Meh

But, well, I was never bored. Brought many Gakki stuff with me, and hell, they managed to entertain me for a few hours or so. XD

We did not play watersports either, SO SAD!!! WHY THE HELL SHOULD WE GO TO BALI AND NOT GO FOR WATERSPORTS???

THAT IS LIKE GOING TO A BROTHEL AND NOT GET LAID!!!

DAMN!!!

This sucks.

But overall, I had fun in the trip. And my love for Gakki remains undisputed.

Yeah, well, so a couple of weeks back, I was chilling in a mall. I was casually walking around and I went into a music store.

In there, was none other than Gakki's album, Sora. (そら)



Yeah, so anyways, I straightaway picked it up and headed to the counter. Only to find out that I am flat-piss broke.

So, yeah, disappointed, but thinking that nobody knows who she is anyway, I left it there.

So yesterday, I went to the music store again. AND IT WAS GONE!!!!

Wow, long lines of people wanting to watch the latest Bond movie.

I had to line up for 1 hour, yes, 1 hour to get the friggin tickets.

Better be worth it, I thought, as I entered the theater.

Well, I have to say that my feelings are mixed with the movie.

First of all, I have to say that I do not like Daniel Craig as Bond. I just don't. He is not flamboyant enough to be Bond and is not handsome enough. I mean, I am a guy, but even I can say that Daniel Craig is not exactly the most handsome Bond ever.

It was damn near impossible to catch Pierce Brosnan in a bad shot, but Daniel Craig just looks horrible in some scenes.

Plus, WHERE ARE THE GADGETS???? THIS IS A BOND MOVIE!!! I NEED THE GADGETS!!!

In this movie, never mind gadgets, Bond did not even meet Q throughout the whole movie. Like in Casino Royale.

The lack of gadgets in the Bond movies so far make me really sad.

The movie itself wasn't bad. The plot was coherent, the setting was nice, and it was executed nicely by the director.

The movie is very character-driven, and for most of the movie, we get to see Bond grow as a character. I don't like Daniel Craig, but I must say that he is a good actor. He brings a side of Bond unseen before. Bond is more humane in this movie, a change from the usually perfect character he has.

I prefer the perfect version. . . .

So, in the end, I would give this movie a solid 7.5/10

Not bad, but not exactly something that i would watch more than once in my lifetime.

Blah. Exams coming up soon.

Too lazy to study and revise.

As usual, I am gonna wait till the last minute before I study.

Had been wanting to watch this movie for a pretty long time.

Might as well review it now.

Well, first of all, if you expect Max Payne to be a movie similar to the movie, then don't even bother showing up.

Instead of hardcore action with bullet-time shooting and overkill consumption of painkillers, in the movie, you will get. . . talking.

Lots and lotsa talking, Not to say that it is boring, but there was way too much of it. This movie certainly does a decent job in being a detective crime thriller, and stuff like that, but in the action department, it was well, . . . lacking. Severely so. I have seen more action in Barbie movies.

If you had seen the trailer, well, that was about 80% of all the action scenes in the movie. Disappointing. Very much so.

Bullet-time shooting is only done in one scene. ONE!! ONE!! ONE!!!

Blah, my money is wasted.

So, in conclusion, for detective movie fans, well, you should watch Max Payne.

For Max Payne fans, don't waste your money in this movie

And for Mark Wahlberg fans, you should definitely watch this movie. HIS ACTING WAS AWESOME!!!!

So, respectively, the scores are

Normal fans: 7/10
Max Payne fans: 3/10
Mark Wahlberg fans: 9/10

So yeah, a bit weird, but whatever. ..

Gotta watch Eagle Eye, Body of Lies, and House Bunny ( Yeah, I know, but at least I get to see Katharine McPhee in a bikini. . .)

Watched Mongol, a Kazakhstan movie about Genghis Khan.

Good heavens, I wished that i hadn't. It was the most epically boring movie of all time. Genghis Khan is apparently a hopeless romantic, devoted father and inspirational leader. And here I thought that he was a fearsome warrior who was without mercy. Blah. Whatever.

WHEN IS MY FURE  FURE SHOUJO COMING OUT??!!!! GAKKI!!!!

So today, I was supposed to watch Eagle Eye, the movie that was supposed to be awesome.

But I can't.

Because some relative of mine has a wedding. A relative that I never heard of. A relative just HAD to send their inivitation today, when he could have done so WEEKS ago.

Blah, i say, BLAH!

But what can I do? Damn.

Gonna watch some Gakki vids to make me happy. . .
